GreenTown Los Altos is offering a Native Garden Bike Tour to visit yards in Los Altos featuring native and drought tolerant plants. We start at Egan Middle School, 100 W. Portola to see the Living Classroom garden, go next door to the Lazy Foot Chicken Ranch to see a fabulous garden, chicken coops and bee hives, then continue through town with several more stops, eventually ending at the History Museum. The ride is about 5 miles, with a family-friendly pace, and with all of the stops will take about 2 hours. Plan to have lunch at the Museum, either brown bag it or order a sandwich that morning and it will be waiting for you.  Please sign up using Event Brite.
