Join GreenTown Los Altos on a bicycle tour of South Los Altos to see some beautiful drought-tolerant landscaping. We had plenty of rain this year, but that won’t always be the case. We start at Oak School to learn about the always inspiring Living Classroom garden, and then we visit several nearby homes to see yards without lawns and hear from homeowners about what inspired them and what works. The ride is 5 miles long and finishes back at Oak School.

Registration begins at 9:00 am, the ride starts at 9:30 and we expect to be done by noon.

Wear a helmet, bring water and put on your sunscreen. This ride is slow-paced, family-friendly and safe. GreenTown provides a leader and a sweeper, but there is always some inherent risk in riding a bike and by joining this ride you understand and accept that risk.
