Join GreenTown Los Altos on a bike ride in Los Altos to see the public works of art by the late Dr. Hardy Jones. His much beloved welded iron sculptures are placed at many of the local schools and this 8.5-mile ride offers a unique opportunity to see his work, learn details about each piece by Hardy’s long-time friend Sam Harding, and pay tribute to Hardy Jones. In addition, this year we have the special honor of a tour of Hardy’s art studio.

Registration starts at 9:00 am, the ride starts at 9:30 and we expect to finish by noon.

Wear a helmet, bring water and put on your sunscreen. This ride is slow paced, family-friendly and safe. GreenTown provides a leader and a sweeper, but there is always some inherent risk in riding a bike and by joining this ride you understand and accept that risk.

The ride concludes with an optional no-host lunch at Urfa Bistro on State Street.
