Now in its 8th year, the GreenTown Los Altos Bicycle Valet Service parks 800 bikes/year during its season from May until October. This allows individuals and families to venture out to downtown festivals without worrying about finding a parking space. Look for our signs and the GreenTown canopy at these events.

We need volunteers to help park and keep track of the bikes. Help us make our community’s events more bike-friendly!

Basic duties of a bike valet volunteer:

We have a roll of double tickets (like raffle tickets — two tickets have the same number on them). The bike valet volunteers tape one ticket to the bike and give the matching ticket to the person. When the person returns to claim their bike, they give their ticket to the volunteer who will ensure that the number on the ticket matches the number on their bike.
